TOMATO SOUP

Hi everyone!

I hope you're all doing well and enjoying the festive season! Last week, I made an experimental short film for my Audio-vision module. The task was to explore the dialogue between the image and the sound in a 1 to 3 min video. I tried to make an original statement with mine. I'm kind of denouncing war, representing it as an absurd tomato soup. But since it's an artistic piece, you can interpret it however you want! Enjoy!

I'm still a bit shocked over the attacks in Istanbul and Berlin, especially Berlin as I was there just two weeks ago... My short film is therefore quite current unfortunately.

BERLIN

Hi everyone!

I hope everything's going great for you and that you're enjoying the festive season!! 
Last week, I traveled to Berlin. I had never been to germany before and I was really surprised that it was a lot colder than London (maybe because the weather is dry there). 
Moreover, I thought people were quiet nice there, even if that's not the image most of us have of germans for some reasons. 

I only spent a few days in the city but it was definitely worth it and enough to get a glimps of the most important monuments. 
Plus, seeing in person the Berlin wall was even an emotional moment, I studied so much about it in high school, was almost surreal.
All in all, It was so rich historically, architecturally and culturally that I obviously took loads of pictures.

Albert Mangelsdorff Quartet - Never Let It End 

HOCKEY

Hi everyone!

I hope you're all doing well and enjoying the beauties of autumn!! As some of you might already know, I started playing hockey last year and absolutely fell in love with the sport. It is a bit like football rule wise, however I was absolutely not used playing with a hockey stick but I eventually managed to get around with it. Back to the point, today we played agains LSE at the Olympic stadium which was pretty amazing :D, and as I was a sub I took some pictures during the match so I thought I would share with you my best shots of the day! Unfortunately we lost but it was still a really good game!

Moby - Natural Blues

Short Films

Hi everyone!

I hope you're all doing very well and enjoying the summer (even though the weather is a bit schizophrenic)!
As I told you in the last post, I've been busy working on a few short films this last 2 months. It has finally come to an end, and I'm quite happy with the result!

In the first one: "Studio 69" which is a comedy about 3 guys wanting to become porn stars, I was only in charge of the sound. It is a very funny story so I really recommend you to watch it  :D
For the second one: "Contactless", I did the color correction and grading as well as the sound recording. However, we had a lot of problem sound wise as it was very windy on the day we decided to shoot outdoors.Therefore, we had to do some ADR (Automated dialogue replacement) but it sounded very different from the sound recorded on location and still doesn't sound very natural... The photography however is not that bad so you can have a look!
The story takes place in a café and stages a homeless man stalking a young girl working as a waitress there. I don't wanna spoil it so if you wanna know why he's following her:

FOOD WASTE

Hi everyone!

I hope you're all doing very well! Sorry for the lack of post these days, I've been super busy, I am actually working on 3 different short films at the moment, and it is tiring but extremely exciting and enriching :D !

For one of my collaborative modules this semester I have to submit a portfolio of pictures or sounds or a short video. I am not sure yet what I will exactly be submitting but I think these photos will definitely be in it. The module is called Political Activism and we basically have to raise awareness on an environmental issue. We decided to focus on food waste and wastage in general. The fashion industry being one of the industries that wastes the most and which encourages us to consume limitlessly and therefore waste, I thought it would be very interesting to draw a parallel between food waste and fashion. I am at the very early stages of production but I thought I would share some of my work with you!

I guess you recognized my sister, the best free model in the market ;)

Little Richard - Tutti Frutti

ICELAND

Hi everyone!

I hope everything's great! Last week, I went to Reykjavik in Iceland. It was such an amazing experience! Reykjavik is actually one of the northernmost capital in the world and indeed it was pretty cold out there. Not as cold as I expected to be, but still colder than London. This country definitely doesn't look like anything I've seen in the past, it is absolutely unique and incomparable to any other european typic cities. Everything about Iceland is different: their food, their way of living, their horses, their landscapes. Everything felt new, and knowing that it was where the vikings used to live and hold their famous festivities was quite exciting. Oh and I also got to see the northern lights!!! This was one of the most beautiful things I've seen in my entire life! Unfortunately, by the time I set up my tripod, they were gone so I only got a glimpse of it in one of my pictures but it's alright at least I've seen it !
It was very refreshing to go there, hope I could go back there one day!
