Hi everybody!

    I hope you're all having an amazing festive season and that you are enjoying your holidays!
Here is a documentary we made at uni for our final documentary practice assessment. It is definitely different from all I have been doing so far but it was very interesting to explore something new, even if I am not sure that I would like to produce more documentaries in the future, I think I prefer fiction. Anyway, we choose a subject that was rarely treated in documentaries before: pansexuality. 
    As a matter of fact only three recognized films shows that kind of subject. Moreover, Amy was such a lovely person, she was really open to talk about that part of her intimacy with us, we definitely had a great time filming !
I hope our documentary will enlighten you on what pansexuality is!

This Is Abuse

Hi everybody!

I hope you're all having great holidays! I just came back home a few days ago and I am really enjoying it :D

The project I am going to show you is an exercise we had to do in group (we were 4) for our Video portrait final assessment. Basically, we had to produce a 5-minute video that explores the way that the media represents human subjects. We chose a topic that we thought relevant to these days. As nowadays everybody talks about feminism, we wanted to show and raise awareness about something different, that nobody's really taking that seriously even if it does happen all the time. Hi everybody!

I hope you're all going very well! Basically, these past 3 weeks I have been busy shooting different projects for my final assignments of this semester. For the Video Technology module, we were in group of four and we had to interpret and shoot a 2 pages script of an existing movie that we absolutely didn't know, in a 2 min video. Moreover, the second part of the evaluation will actually require us to write a 800 words essay to point the differences between our movie and the actual one.

The Youtube Scene Documentary

Hi everybody!

Last week, I had to write a treatment for a 7 to 10 min documentary that I will hopefully shoot in the next couple of weeks if it got chosen! 
I actually chose the Youtube scene as a subject, because I think that the statistics are just incredible. The fact that more than one billion unique users visit YouTube every month to watch more than six billion hours of video, averaging nearly an hour per person on Earth, is beyond fascinating! 

Being a viewer myself, I think that there is a lot of elements about this job that could interest any other viewer and especially the financial part. How do they monetize their videos, is definitely a question I will raise in this documentary. 

Moreover, there is not that much documentaries about Youtubers, which is intriguing because the numbers and the infatuation provoked definitely prove that they have as much impact as any other mainstream star, and that really made me want to do it!

Anastasia

Hi everybody!

Basically, this is a project I've been working on for the past 2 weeks. It is a portrait of my classmate Anastasia, that we had to do for our Video Portrait class. 

It was really interesting to work on it because it iss absolutely not what I'm used to do! You know my love for black and white and philosophical deep thoughts so this kind of practice was completely new for me. However, the process was the same, we had to prepare a script, shoot it and then edit it. 

Unfortunately, we couldn't use a tripod without  an accreditation in every places where we shot, such as trafalgar square and picadilly circus so you can see some images not that sharp,I was shaking a little bit, sorry about that! 

As a matter of fact, It is far from perfect but the positive thing is that it's my first work here at uni so it can only get better!

The Art Of The Brick

Hi everybody!

Two days ago, I went to an exhibition called "The Art Of The Brick" and it was one of the most surprising and interesting event I've been to so far!

When I was younger, I didn't like legos, I thought it was just a really boring game and I was pretty bad at it which certainly explains why. However, I would've never thought that one day I would be impressed by a sculpture made of legos and that's exactly what happened. 

The way these creations made of plastic bricks expresses different emotions and presents so many deep philosophical ideas is just surreal!

I hope you'll like my pictures, but if you have the opportunity to go to this exhibition, do not hesitate it's definitely worth it and more colorful than my pictures! well I guess everyone has their own style ;)

Silver Balloons

Hi everybody!

Last week, I was in a party store and I found these amazing silver balloons! I couldn't resist to take them for a new photoshoot (my parents still have some difficulties to understand that buying 50 silver balloons is an investment and not a waste... I thought that by now they would have understand!).

NEW BEGINNING

Hi everybody!

Recently, I have been thinking about so many different things, especially about how next school year was going to be. 

As I finally got the chance to move to London to pursue my dream (and YES this year I will be studying filmmaking!!!) and start a completely new life, I thought that this place definitely needed a new look. So obviously, you will recognize most of the pictures in my welcoming montage but you can also see some new shots that I will post later this week.

I know how lucky I am to be able to study the thing that I love the most in life (with music of course), so I would like to take this opportunity to tell anyone who's got an uncommon goal, a dream that seems unachievable or just too complicated or just feels little bit insecure about it to never stop believing in it, because I am sure that hard work and dedication are always rewarding! Moreover, I really do believe, and maybe it is youth, that destiny can be written if you put all your will and soul in it. Of course, I am a dreamer, but every achievement started with a dream and if people made it before me why wouldn't I? 

If anyone of you needs any information about my studies or is looking for advices regarding their portfolios, I have become an expert so do not hesitate!

Hi everybody!

I hope you're all going very well! It's been a really long time, I know, but I had to pass my baccalaureate... I guess it's a sufficient excuse. 
Anyway, I've recently been for the first time to Fes, a wonderful city in the north of Morocco, to attend the Fes festival of world sacred music. Obviously, I took my camera with me!

I really liked the old medina and it's narrow streets. Moreover, the atmosphere there was incredible: It was like using a time machine and going back to the 13th century, which was amazing,  but it was definitely too hot out there. 

A lot of people don't know that but U2's clip "Magnificent" was shot in Fes!

I have some really exciting things coming soon so stay tuned!!

The actress

Hi everybody!

Nowadays, I feel we talk a lot about the dark side of the show

business and especially about actors and actresses blackouts.

But we only focus on the negative physical consequences in this

harsh world, such as drug addiction, alcoholism etc...

Unfortunately, most of the time, we dismiss the psychological

part of it . So I wanted to show through this short film that the

real problem for an actor is the identity issue. Indeed, playing

too many different roles must be disturbing.

Actually, I've been inspired by Isabelle Adjani, a french actress

who turned “crazy” after one of her biggest and strongest roles

in "Camille Claudel" by Bruno Nuytten where she played Rodin's

lover.  I really hope you're going to like it! Black and white is back ;)

It was quite touching to see the result. Some of these pictures were taken 4 years ago and never got to see the light. It's so weird to realize that this has come to occupy an increasingly important part in my life...

First of all, let me wish you a brilliant, peaceful and successful new year. Last year, I exposed you my new year's resolutions, and truth be told I didn't achieve all my goals especially the one dealing with Chinese chopsticks, I have to admit that it is more complicated than I thought... However, I think that I kinda succeeded in my artistic resolutions but you're the one who could tell anyway. So, Happy new year 2014 and may the odds be ever in your favor!
